Dr. Thota Sivasankar is working as an Assistant Professor in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) area at NIIT University, Neemrana (Rajasthan), India. He has received M.Tech. degree in Remote Sensing from Andhra University, India and Ph.D. degree on Microwave Remote Sensing from Indian Institute of Technology (I.S.M.), Dhanbad while he was working at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, ISRO. His current research involves the use of the optical and SAR data for natural resource management and disaster management applications. He has published his research in various referred International and National journals as well as presented in various International and National conferences. He is a life member of Indian Society of Remote Sensing.
