Wuhan, abbreviated as "Han", also known as Jiangcheng, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province, the provincial capital, a sub-provincial city, a national central city, a mega-city, a central city in central China as determined by the State Council, a nationally important industrial base, a science and education base, and a comprehensive transportation hub, and the location of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Joint Logistics and Security Force (JLSF) The city is located in 13 districts.
